Moon halo Ross Castle

A rare and beautiful 22 degrees Moon halo over the Ross Castle, this was my first and only time seeing that phenomenon in Ireland . The phenomenon occurred when ice crystals in the atmosphere refracted the moonlight, creating a stunning circle around the moon. The sight was truly a natural wonder!!!
